The ask: convince parents in Dallas to get their children vaccinated. Simple enough, right?
As tall of a task as this project was, we needed to take a two-pronged approach. We needed to appeal to both the kids and their parents. Both the head and the heart. We developed two campaigns and two calls to action.
Don’t Miss Out
When talking about COVID-19, there are plenty of landmines to avoid and eggshells to walk on. For Texas, we needed to keep in mind that much of their population just kept on living through the pandemic. So instead of a “get back to the things you love” message, we needed to approach the topic from a different perspective:
Don’t risk contracting COVID-19 and missing out on the things you love.

For every fact, there is a counter fact. And that’s a fact.
When talking to parents about such a sensitive topic, we wanted to assure them that the vaccines are safe and effective. We understood that parents still had a lot of questions, but Children’s Health is here to help.
